Epson Stylus Photo RX585 All-in-one Inkjet Printer functions both as a photo printer and a scanner. It comes with a 2.5” LCD screen that has a preview monitor. Various options such as cropping, black and white and septia effects and greeting card creation are provided when you print from a memory card. It is designed to print directly from flash drive or a PictBridge-compatible camera. You can archive images from memory card to a CD burner. It is possible to print from a camera phone or PDA by plugging in a blue tooth. Upright feeder in this printer can load about 120 sheets of paper. The unique feature of this model printer is that it comes with a special tray to print directly on to blank DVDs and CD.
Epson Stylus Photo RX585 All-in-one Colour Inkjet Printer uses six inks and adds light magenta and light cyan to the three primary colours. It produces vibrant colours and sharp images on photo paper. Text pages are printed at a speed of 3.9ppm and photos are printed at a speed of 2.8ppm on plain paper. The minimum ink droplet size of this printer is 1.5pl. This is a simple machine with ease of use. It supports media types such as plain paper, envelopes, printable CD/DVD disc and photo paper. It is compatible to operating systems such as MS-Windows XP, Apple MacOS X 10.2.8 or later, MS-Windows ME, MS-Windows 2000, MS-Windows 98 SE, MS-Windows Vista and MS-Windows XP 64-bit Edition. In operational mode, it consumes power of 15W and in sleep mode, it consumes power of 1.5W.
