Sony DPPFP60 Portable Computer Printer uses dye-sublimation (Y/M/C/O) printing technology for functioning. The maximum print resolution is 300 x 300 dpi. The print speed is approximately 1.05 min/page - photo - 101.6 x 152.4 mm and the maximum media size is 101.6 mm x 152.4 mm. The supported media type is photo paper.
It supports 16.7 million colours. It prints with a printing speed of approximately 63 seconds which is very suitable for printing high resolution images (DSC and DSLR cameras).
It enables PC free operation and supports calendar print, layout print and index print. With Pictbridge facility, you can directly print from PC using USB connection or from your digital camera. The damages to prints that are likely to be caused by fingerprints, light, heat and humidity are prevented with the help of Super Coat 2 making sure of long-lasting prints.
A Memory Card Reader is as well there in this computer printer apart from a Photo Preview Window. The supported flash memory cards are Memory Stick, Multi media Card, SD Memory Card, Memory Stick Duo and Mini SD
This printer is capable of printing with a speed of 0.95ppm in both mono and colour output. The power device is power adaptor. The supplied software’s are Drivers & Utilities and Sony Picture Motion Browser.
This printer consists of a 2” LCD screen with TFT technology. The paper tray capacity of this printer comes to 20 sheets. It supports USB (Type A PictBridge) interface apart from USB 1.1 (Type B). An optional Bluetooth connection is also available in this printer.
The compatible operating systems are Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional SP3 or later and Microsoft Windows Vista.
