The new Brother HL4070CDW Computer Printer uses 
Electrophotographic technology to ensure quality printing. It has got 64 MB internal memory. The memory can be increased upto 576 MB using 144pin SO-DIMM slot. The dimensions of the printer are 41.9 x 47.5 x 31.7 cms and it weighs 29.1 Kg. The maximum resolution supported is 2400 dpi x 600 dpi. It performs a print speed of up to 20 ppm for B/W in A4, up to 20 ppm for colour in A4, up to 7 ppm for B/W duplex in A4, up to 7 ppm for colour duplex in A4, up to 21 ppm for B/W in ANSI A (Letter) and up to 21 ppm for colour in ANSI A (Letter).
The interfaces provided are Parallel, USB, 802.11b, Ethernet 10/100Base-TX, 802.11g and direct print USB. Data link protocols include Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, IEEE 802.11b and IEEE 802.11g. The residents fonts supported are 66 scalable fonts, 12 bitmap fonts, 13 bar codes, BR-Script 3 (PostScript® 3 language emulation) and 66 fonts Option.
The Brother HL4070CDW Colour Computer Printer supports software like Host-Based for Windows 2000 Professional, XP Home Edition, XP Professional, XP Professional x64 Edition, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003 (32-bit); Windows Server 2003 x 64 Edition, Macintosh and Macintosh Printer Driver for Mac OS X 10.2.4 or greater. Some other features provided by the printer are Booklet Printing, Watermark Printing, Reprint, Secure Printing, Auto Calibration, PictBridge and Toner Saving. The maximum media capacity being 800 sheets the maximum media size is 216 x 406.4 mm.
The inbuilt LCD display in this Brother computer printer supports switches like +, -, OK, Back, Reprint, Go, Cancel, Direct Print. The tray in the printer can handle 250 sheets. With support for media types like Envelopes, labels, plain paper, bond paper and recycled paper, the media sizes supported are ANSI A, Legal, Executive, A4, A5, B5, Folio, B6 and Folio.
